None of us know what 2019 is going to bring, but what I do know, is that no matter what life throws at you, no matter the challenge, you will make it through. Even though life might seem like a fire raging inside your very core, it’s your mind, the hammer, that decides how to react to things and so forges your spirit.
I wish you health, peace, and happiness. But above all, I wish you the desire to keep going no matter what. So that one day you will rise up and tell the world ‘I am here. I have arrived.‘

I’ve said this to people in their face and they still keep doing it. Ugh…
so, this is our house. we’re on the corner, this is the most visible side. there are six of us, all variously queer, and shortly after we moved in my housemate julian put up the gay pride flag. not to let my dumb trans ass be outdone, i put up the trans pride flag a little while later*. today, julian found this note on our door
being visibly queer fuckin matters. don’t let anyone, esp. any straight people, but especially any queer ppl, tell you that you’re too visible, making a scene, that you shouldn’t wear your pride on your sleeve. this stuff matters; just about all of us are hurt one way or another, and you never know when your flag or your shirt or your pin is gonna be someone else’s lifeline.

- The ban on homosexuality was lifted in India just last year, in September and now we’re going to have this hopefully fabulous movie here which revolves around a small-town girl who falls in love with a girl and eventually comes out to her family.
