Are transmasc people only considered boys or can girls be considered transmasc as well? Also, can a transfemme be a boy or only a girl? I am not too educated in transmasc/transfemme terms, so can you people specify what those things mean to me?
I’m not too educated on this either, so if I say something that’s not correct, I’m sorry, please correct me.
From what I know, a transmasc/femme person can be considered as a boy or girl or whatever they want to be considered as. Transmasc means not necessarily wanting to transition to a male but transition to be more masculine. That can mean binding, taking testosterone etc. to become more masculine, but the person doing that doesn’t really identify as male. It’s the same with transfemme - wanting to transition to be more feminine rather than transition to be a female. People who are non-binary/genderqueer etc. generally use these terms because of not wanting to be strictly male or female but be masculine or feminine. I hope I answered this right, but if I said something wrong, please correct me.

it sounds like you are wanting to know about butch chivalry on dates, or perhaps ofos (old fashioned old school) butch/femme etiquette! this is all about showing your femme as much respect and courtesy as you can and caring for her safety. none of these are required in order to be butch, and you should only do the things that make both of you happy, but here’s a few more ideas for your butch!
