I think different is great! I love Pokemon, but we've followed the same formulae for so long. It's refreshing to get a game that plays like classic Pokemon, but has that little twist to it that makes it so unique.

Seriously cannot wait to play it. So glad I have this upcoming weekend off to devote to it.

Yeah, there's people who are bragging about trading in their banned 3DS and using the profits towards a brand new one.

Though most trade-in places I've seen check the online connectivity and stuff like that, so hopefully some of them will get caught.

I think it's less about the fact it was pirated, and more that the majority of people who did pirate were being utterly obnoxious about it. Bragging about how they were smart enough to get it first, that they weren't going to get caught, that people were stupid for wanting to actually buy the game, etc.

While it wasn't so bad here, it was pretty awful on other websites.

Also, if you follow the theory that Europe's release date was delayed because of X & Y being released early, then at least it's proof that Nintendo comes down on hard on anyone who breaks the rules.
