Hawkeye and Black Widow. Because...
A: They were best friends, and the Soul Stone required the reciever to sacrifice what they loved the most. Hawkeye and Black Widow's reaction to learning this show that Nebula never told them though. They went in blind.
B: They are both expendable. Nebula is ruthless and cares little about anything other than killing Thanos. She isn't afraid to let a teammate die to make it happen, and Hawkeye and Black Widow are the weakest links amongst the living Avengers. Losing either wouldn't hurt as much as losing someone like Thor or Iron Man
With that in mind i find easy to believe that Nebula left out a lot of the information on how to get the stone, but insisted on sending Hawkeye and Black Widow. She knowingly sent one of them to their grave
Theory:
Springwood, Ohio is also effected by the portal to the upside down, and Freddy Krueger is a product of its monsters possessing the ultimate child killer in an attempt to defeat Eleven.
Ways they are connected:
The Dream World, and The Upside Down can both be accessed through the mind. (They are the same place) and both contain evil entities that can possess humans manipulating both there mental and physical states.
The events that occur in Stranger Things Season 1 occur around the same time as A Nightmare on Elm St. 1. They also both occur around the same area (Both use fictional towns, but both states contain a town of Springfield that are roughly around 300 miles from each other to give you an idea how close they are)
There are also many other similarities (The red door in Stranger Things Season 3) (Nancy from Springwood has a father who is a sheriff much like Hopper is to Eleven in Hawkins) (Nancy of Hawkins goes through a survival training phase to defeat the monster much like Nancy of Springwood) (They also both have friends who die early in the series)
But Why:
By possessing the ultimate child killer outside of Hawkins the monsters of the upside down can train him to use his power and spread Freddy's influence undetected by the residence of Hawkins, until it reaches there town. (As we see by the end of Freddy's Dead, the adults of springwood are under mass psychosis, and all of the children have been killed, Freddy must now reach out to neighboring towns in order to continue his killing spree)
Thoughts?
Hey guys! I don’t post much but I really wanted to share my fan theory on Jeepers Creepers. I hope you guys enjoy my theory because it took me forever to write!
In my opinion, the Creeper (I’ll call him William) was from a poor family who were strong believers of the Roman Catholic Church. William was raised in a pure environment and had a lot of faith in his belief, which allowed him a potential path to Incorruptibility due to his strong beliefs and practices of his religion, even though he wasn’t deemed a Saint. His father was most likely an inventor of some sort due to the fact that the Creeper in the movies, shows skill at making different devices and creating his own weapons. His family lived in the time of the Crusades during 1217, allowing for the statute “place a ring of reeds or another material, vile or precious, on a young woman’s hands in jest, so that he might more easily fornicate with them, lest, while he thinks himself to be joking, he pledge himself to the burdens of matrimony” to be in place. I’m presuming William was roughly 25 and in a romantic relationship with a girl (I’ll call her Alice), who I am saying is 23 for the purpose of my theory, who was part of a wealthy family also connected to the church. Alice’s family was very troublesome and always believing people were jealous of them for their wealth. Driven by his love for Alice, William asked her to marry him on her 23rd birthday and gave her a necklace that he personally made for her to show his love, which she accepted believing her parents would let her marry William even though Alice was already betrothed to another man. Alice’s family did not take the news lightly and thought that William had already married their daughter and was now taking her away from them. They believed William was trying to steal their wealth and use it to gain power and purposely causing them to lose their arrangement for Alice to marry into an even wealthier family that would have given them more power in the church. Alice’s father and mother then decided to keep the whole ordeal a secret by killing William and Alice so the two families wouldn’t combine and since they believed her body was no longer pure due to William supposedly already marrying her, they arranged a marriage with Alice’s younger sister and the man Alice was supposed to marry instead. Later in the night, the couple were taken by Alice’s parents, who lured them to the basement, pretending to be agreeing to their marriage. Alice’s father then grabbed William and tied him down on a table in the basement, making William watch as Alice is brutally murdered by her own mother, who was secretly practicing witchcraft with her husband. Alice’s mother then murdered William and cursed the two of them, more specifically William, cursing him with rapid decay instead of the Incorruptibility that was possibly in his future mocking his belief, which explains his constant having to eat the organs and body parts of his victims to restore himself as well as the beastly form of the demon that they saw him as for seducing their daughter. Alice was cursed with constant reincarnation doomed to die upon the conclusion of her 23rd birthday every time she is reincarnated only able to be saved by William who will be in a hibernation of sorts for the first 23 years of her life only to awaken 23 days before her birthday in order to attempt to find her and once they are reunited his cycle of hibernation is broken, only for him to have to break the curse of his demonic form by having her remember what happened to them all those hundreds of years ago. Their bodies were burned, though William didn’t burn and instead sunk into the earth and didn’t awaken for 23 years. William attempted to track Alice down and never was able to find her after searching for almost 800 years, giving up and resorting to his current hunting grounds where he lives the life of Jeepers Creepers and takes his anger out on the humans who fear him. He played with many different technologies making his many weapons and modifying his truck. He waits in hopes that maybe one day Alice will appear in his area, allowing him to break his curse.
I really love my theory, though it’s kind of broken due to me not being good at explaining things but it makes sense to me. I really enjoyed writing it and have always thought maybe there was more to the Creeper than his killer instincts and kind of tried to relate it to a potential love story. I understand its probably not true but its my theory. I just had a fun poke at things I have researched and put some stuff together to make something I thought would be possible.
Edit: forgot to explain was Incorruptibility is. It’s when you do not decay after death by divine intervention if you are holy.
So this theory is taken from the YouTuber Spumwack. Its a great theory and the best about the history of the MC world, but many people dont know about it.
So basically when observing the MC sky, we see something strange. The sun and moon are always opposite of each other. This is impossible. Since the earth revolves around the sun and the moon revolves around the Earth, the sun and moon have seperate paths in the night sky and only rarely cross paths. The only way the sun and moon will be opposite of each other in the night sky is if the Earth is always between the sun and moon, which means that the 'moon' isnt actually revolving around the Earth, it is actually the next planet over.
This would be the end of it, but there's one problem: the stars. The stars in the night sky also revolve around the Earth at the same rate as the moon. This means that the Earth is at the center of the sun and moon, with the stars also rotating at the same pace. According to the laws of astrophysics, this is impossible, but it would make sense if we are observing the sky from the sun. This is where the dead sun theory comes into play.
Billions of years in the future, all life in the universe will be facing a mass extinction. This is the Dying Light. Stars will be losing their fuel and start to produce less energy. Also, at this point, other stars will be so far away because of the expansion of the Universe, and new stars will stop being born. This is why even though the Minecraft world has basically no light pollution, the sky has much less stars than our sky.
A hyper advanced civilization noticed that their star was dying. So, in a last ditch attempt to save the species, they allocated all the energy that their planet produces into making a bomb. They then sent some members of their species to space along with resources and embryos. Then finally, they detonated their planet, and the bomb was powerful enough to kickstart nuclear reactions, and their home planet became a brand new sun.
On the stone core of their old sun, they started importing stone, water, grass, and life. The crew sent to space entered a cryostasis and waited millions of years for the planet to become habitable. You, the player, are the last of the crew members, making a life in this familiar but not so familiar world.
This theory explains many things. First, there's inpenetrable rock just 50m below the surface because thats the incredibly dense remnants of the dead sun, and everything above it is just imported. The villagers/pillagers are the descendants of the embryos you imported, which explains why they're not quite human because they evolved for millions of years on a seperate planet. These not-humans had their own civilizations, as evidenced by the ruins scattered across the land. The animals are also not quite right because they also evolved on the dead sun. The hostile mobs may be mutated animals who evolved naturally in this new environment or abnormally after an apocalyptic event the not-humans had.
And then there's you, the spaceship crewman, who woke up after millions of years of cryosleep. You will use the resources to make a life on this world you created. And you will look up at the sun, the burning remnants of the place you used to call home.
