On Election Day, you must cast your ballot in your precinct at your designated polling place between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. If you do not know where your designated precinct or polling place is located, please contact your county board of elections or search for your polling place online.
Ohio law requires voters to present a valid, unexpired photo ID that includes their name and photograph. Examples of acceptable IDs include Ohio driver licenses, state of Ohio ID cards, U.S. passports, and military IDs.

Any registered Ohio voter with an up-to-date voter registration can vote absentee. To do so, you must fill out an absentee ballot request form, provide acceptable ID, and mail or hand-deliver the form to your county board of elections.
