Jonathan Black

Director of careers service, University of Oxford

As director of the University of Oxford’s careers service, Jonathan writes the ‘Dear Jonathan’ column answering readers’ questions. He joined Oxford after senior roles in international management consulting, media, and publishing; his experience of organisations spans international corporations to a successful start-up he co-founded.

At Oxford, Jonathan’s work ranges from 1:1 student coaching to designing skills programmes with senior academics, from researching school pupils’ careers interests to devising international collaborations.
