Hi everyone, i have some new cards to share… i am not a big card making person, but sometimes i love to make some! I used some awesome stamps from Alexandra Renke for this set of cards but i also painted some galaxies! i LOVE galaxies, it is so relaxing and i love to watch how the colors blends into each other

But let´s have a look at the cards and the stamp sets i used.

The first card started with a stencil and some texture paste… some stamps around the middle part and watercolors. I love how the galaxy pops off the card. the gold splatters were made with gansai tambi starry colors gold – my favorites!!

i used some golden paper and a alpha die set from altenew – oh my, i LOVE this set!
the second card was made with nearly the same things, i used the same stencil but used some embossing paste instead of the texture paste… first time trying and this is so much fun!

i applied the embossing paste through the stencil and heat embossed it right away. it´s a great texture and i love how it looks. i also added some silver watercolor over the white embossed cardstock. some silver letters and stamps… this page is done.

the last card got some golden ebmossed dots and a kraft branch, i love the mix here. kraft and gold is always perfect for christmas, right?!

Ich habe euch in den letzten Wochen ja ein paar Seite gezeigt und heute gibt es noch zwei neue dazu. Viele Seiten sind noch leer, was aber nicht schlimm ist, denn der tolle Monat Dezember beginnt ja erst morgen…

Mein Cover habe ich mit einem tollen Design von einem Design Papier dekoriert, das ausschneiden war etwas mühsam, aber es hat sich total gelohnt, oder? Dazu gab es noch Kekse und ein paar Stanzteile!

Hier findet ihr alle Seiten die ich euch schon gezeigt habe Wunschzettel, Gedicht im Wald  und Cameo Schnitte…Ich habe noch zwei weitere für euch. Die erste ist eine relativ einfache Seite mit einem dekoriertem Tag und platz für Journaling.

Die zweite Seite ist mit einem großen ausgeschnittenem Design dekoriert. Hier habe ich mir eins der tollen „Kranz“ Papieren geschnappt und einen teil davon ausgeschnitten. Das nimmt immer recht viel Zeit in Anspruch, aber es lohnt sich wirklich IMMER. Es wirkt total Klasse und ich liebe „fussy cutting“

1st day of school | paige evans

Hi everyone, Jana here with you. I have a fun new layout to share. Our little one started 3rd grade in the summer and I have never ever scrapped a picture from his first day of school! What?! So, today was the day and I started this project with the spooky star background CutFile from Paige.

The new “Whimsical” Collection is full of creative things and it is perfect for school pictures. I decided to go with a white cut for the stars, because I wanted to use a patterned paper (No#15) as my background and I wanted to use a lot of colorful elements. I also decided to add some vellum to some of the stars. This looks so cool and the background is shining through. I always love to use vellum on my layouts.

I added a thin layer of white acrylic paint to the patterned paper because I also wanted to add some mixed media to it. I used greens and blues with a touch of yellow here and there. After I stitched some of the stars down I placed the picture on top of them and started to build my layering around it. The stitching gives a fun texture!

I used a lot of school themed images from the Chipboard Stickers, Sticker Book  and ephemera pieces, like a set of notebooks, some brushes, a scissors and a set of watercolors; but also added some fussy cut details from patterned papers. I tried to do some color on color with the little titles on the stars and the elements around it.

This was a really fun project and I totally love how it turned out. The new collection is just awesome and the colors are beautiful!

24 days of joy | alexandra renke

hi everyone, i have made a little „24 days of joy“ project for the month of december, i´ll fill each of the little pockets with little notes. some questions… my idea behind this project was very simple. I want to have my boys/family answer this little questions, each and every day. I will use some of this for my big album, memory keeping!
All of the products i used are from Alexandra Renke – christmas 2018, days of joy products and so much more…

I had not the right idea for using all of this pockets, envelopes and tags. First i wanted to hang all of them on a big branch with some lights and other christmas decorations. But this was not perfect, not at all. So i grabbed some big rings and splitted everything into two piles…

i really, really, really LOVE how this project turned out! there are some vellum pockets filled with sequins, some cones, selfmade envelopes (cutfile from Paige Evans) and a lot of die cuts! you can flip through the pages and just grab one of the days/notes.

Days of Joy | Alexandra Renke

Hallo, heute habe ich zwei weitere Seiten in meinem Days of Joy Album für euch. Ich habe mir ein paar neue Cutfiles von Alexandra Renke geschnappt und angefangen zu werkeln. De Cutfiles sind ganz neu im Shop, „merry„, „bright“ und die Schneeflocke.

Die erste Seite besteht aus den beiden Worten, die genau die Größe der DoJ Papiere haben. Da mein Album aber festgebunden ist kann ich keine Seite einfach einheften, also habe ich mir überlegt das ich die beiden kombiniere und eine große Einsteck-Tasche daraus machen.

Ich habe sie etwas dichter zusammen gesetzt, das untere Papier habe ich dazu einfach zurecht geschnitten, und es dann auf ein passendes Stück Vellum genäht. Dann habe ich mir etwas Deko Material gesucht und mir überlegt wie ich die Seite gestalten kann. Bevor ich damit angefangen habe gab es noch weiße Farb Spritzer auf das Vellum, soll ja winterlich wirken…

Die Stanzen (Bäume und Beeren) findet ihr ebenfalls bei Alexandra Renke. Die süße Eisbären Familie habe ich aus einem Design Papier ausgeschnitten. Ein paar Bäumchen, etwas Schnee und fertig ist die Seite. Ich habe die Vellum Tasche auf eine Seite mit dunklem Papier geklebt, so kommen die Wöter, der Schnee und das Vellum richtig gut zur Geltung.

Die zweite Seite hat eine große Schneeflocke mit etwas Mixed Media im Hintergrund bekommen. Goldene Farbkleckse für das festliche Gefühl…

Der kleine süße Tag ist ebenfalls aus einem Design Papier ausgeschnitten und mit ein paar kleinen Teilchen dekoriert. Der Hirsch wurde mit goldenem Embossing Pulver geschmückt und steht nun schön im Glanze…

Ich habe noch eine kleine Vellum Tasche hinzugefügt welche mit einem Tag oder Foto bestückt werden kann. Oben drauf noch eine Tasse Kakao und ein Keks… i like!

Hallo, heute habe ich einen neuen Eintrag in meinem Days of Joy für euch.
Alexandra Renke hat das KreativProjekt No.5 ins Leben gerufen und ich bin richtig happy ein Teil davon zu sein. Mein Album habe ich euch ja schon gezeigt und heute habe ich nicht nur eine neue Seite, nein, heute habe ich auch mit neuen Materialien gespielt und bin richtig Feuer und Flamme…

Aber nun mal zu den neuen Sachen, ich habe mit Alcohol Inks gespielt und was soll ich sagen?! Ich liebe die Effekte! Ich habe mich erst nicht richtig getraut aber bin dann doch recht schnell mutig geworden…

Ich habe mich heute für ein Gedicht von Erich Kästner entschieden, es gefällt mir und es passt zur Weihnachtszeit und zum Erwachsen sein…

Ich liebe Vellum und Schreibmaschinen… beides zusammen ist demnach echt perfekt.
Ich habe das Vellum als kleine Tasche zusammen genäht, so kann ich evtl. noch ein paar Fotos ergänzen oder vielleicht ein paar Notizen. Die Seite auf die ich es setzen will schien mir etwas nackig, so habe ich mir eine Stencil geschnappt und eine Mousse von Nuvo, ebenfalls neu. Tolles Produkt!

Mit etwas Wasser gemischt kann man die Mousse auch toll zum klecksen verwenden. Ich liebe die tolle Farbe und es passt ganz wunderbar zu dem Design Papier…

Nun aber zum eigentlich Design der Seite. Wie oben auf den Bildern zu sehen habe ich das Yupo Papier in grün und blau Tönen gefärbt und mit der neuen Stanze viele tolle Bäume heraus bekommen. Die wollte ich um das Gedicht herum kleben.

Für das BlingBling habe ich mir ein paar Pailetten geschnappt und sie auf und zwischen den Bäumen verteilt. Gehört ja irgendwie auch dazu, geschmückte Bäume.

This color combination is not my usual style, but i am totally in love! The pink mixed with red and mint. I have never thought of using them together, but this kinda happened by itself. Sometimes you need to be brave and try new things, right?!

I glued four word pieces together and also heat embossed it with a bright red. this is so much fun!

Hi everyone, Jana here again and i have a new layout to share. We´re starting to create some Thanksgiving inspired projects for you and i will start.
I am fighting a cold at the moment and i am spending a lot of time in my bed… but i did some brushlettering with Vickis watercolors and this turned out so great that i was totally inspired to use these colors for my next layout. Not the typical fall colors, but i love how it turned out.

This is the little phrase i wrote and i am thankful for my life. My kiddos and my hubby… i am thankful even when we have to deal with some serious stuff, but that is life, right?
I had to think about this project for a while but once the idea popped into my head, everything worked perfectly! I used the same colors for a lot of stamped and painted leaves.

I started with pink, purple and blue. I mixed the three colors together to get some new/different shades. I splattered over all the leaves to get some more different looks. Once all of the leaves were done i started to seperate them into four color parts. I wanted to use four photos and i also wanted to add the leaves to each of them.

The photos are showing my family, my hubby and my three boys. I really love how the black/white photos are popping off the page. I grabbed a sheet of the Foundations Paper and added some stitched lines with my sewing machine. I wanted to have a visual border between each color section and that is why i added the white stitching on 6″. Now i have four 6×6 squares to fill.

The Journaling pieces were used for some layering behind the photos. I wanted to use a lot of layered leaves and so i only added one paper behind each photo. I used foam tape for more dimension. Once i was happy with the layering and the details i glued everything down. My journaling is running around the background paper. It´s also a visual border around everything.

Some Chipboard stickers were placed on top or next to each photo, the black and white leaves from the watercolor stickers and matching enamel dots to finish this page. I really love how this one turned out.
