The Pamban Sea Bridge is a railway bridge constructed on the Palk Strait which connects the Island town of Rameswaram to the rest of India. This is the first ever Sea Bridge constructed in India and is about 2 KM long opened to service on 24 February 1914. So far this has been one of the most dangerous and deadly Sea Bridges ever constructed due to its low raised concrete piers just a few feet above the sea water level. The piers almost go invisible when the water level raises during heavy monsoons.The Bridge is restricted to a speed of only 15 KPH due to the double leaf bascule section midway (Cantilever), which can be raised to let ships and barges pass through. An anemometer fixed on the 56th pier over the bridge records the velocity of the wind. Whenever the velocity of the wind exceeds 58 KPH, the signals are turned red preventing any train movement on the bridge.
The bridge is located in the world's second most corrosive environment after Florida, making its maintenance a challenging job. The location is also a cyclone-prone high wind velocity zone.The bridge consist of 143 piers and the center span is a Scherzer rolling type lift span. Each half of the lifting span weighs approximately 415 tonnes.
The Bridge was originally in Meter gauge alignment and was converted to Broad gauge in 2008.
The adjacent road bridge was opened in 1988 until then Rail and Ferry services were the only means of transport to cross the Sea.
This video covers a lot of Trains moving over the Bridge from various view points. Some spots were really risky. The stretch is non electrified between Trichy - Rameswaram and Madurai -Ramerswaram hence all trains are powered by ALCo's only, EMD's have never been tested on this Bridge.

HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "weight" is not recognized
Immanuel Vasanth Dinakaran, better known as D. Imman, is an Indian film composer and singer, predominantly working in the Tamil film industry. His first film as music director was Thamizhan in 2002. Since then he has composed music for more than 25 films.
Early and personal life
Imman was born in Chennai, India. He is the son of J. David Kirubakkara Dass, who was a teacher. Imman started playing music at a very early age. His early years were spent in Chennai and he subsequently attended Don Bosco, Egmore, Chennai and later Pachaiyappa's College. He received his Master's degree from the University of Madras.
Married to Monica Richard on 24 April 2008, D. Imman has two daughters, Veronica Dorothy Imman and Blessica Kathy Imman.

Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh is an actress in the South Indian film industries. Keerthy was a child actress in the early 2000s and, after graduating in fashion design, she returned into lead roles. She played her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali and has signed up films in Tamil and Telugu languages as well.
Early life
Keerthy Suresh was born to Malayali film producer Suresh Kumar and Tamil actress Menaka . She has an elder sister, Revathy Suresh, who works as a VFX specialist and had previously worked for Shahrukh Khan's production house Red Chillies. Until class four, Keerthy did her schooling in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She then studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram before coming back to Chennai to join the Pearl Academy where she completed her degree in fashion design. She also spent time on an exchange program in Scotland for four months, before completing a two-month internship in London. Despite making a career in acting, she has stated that she was also "seriously considering a career in designing".

The Pamban Sea Bridge is a railway bridge constructed on the Palk Strait which connects the Island town of Rameswaram to the rest of India. This is the first ever Sea Bridge constructed in India and is about 2 KM long opened to service on 24 February 1914. So far this has been one of the most dangerous and deadly Sea Bridges ever constructed due to its low raised concrete piers just a few feet above the sea water level. The piers almost go invisible when the water level raises during heavy monsoons.The Bridge is restricted to a speed of only 15 KPH due to the double leaf bascule section midway (Cantilever), which can be raised to let ships and barges pass through. An anemometer fixed on the 56th pier over the bridge records the velocity of the wind. Whenever the velocity of the wind exceeds 58 KPH, the signals are turned red preventing any train movement on the bridge.
The bridge is located in the world's second most corrosive environment after Florida, making its maintenance a challenging job. The location is also a cyclone-prone high wind velocity zone.The bridge consist of 143 piers and the center span is a Scherzer rolling type lift span. Each half of the lifting span weighs approximately 415 tonnes.
The Bridge was originally in Meter gauge alignment and was converted to Broad gauge in 2008.
The adjacent road bridge was opened in 1988 until then Rail and Ferry services were the only means of transport to cross the Sea.
This video covers a lot of Trains moving over the Bridge from various view points. Some spots were really risky. The stretch is non electrified between Trichy - Rameswaram and Madurai -Ramerswaram hence all trains are powered by ALCo's only, EMD's have never been tested on this Bridge.

Definitely not the usual way to start an album, but by this time we were doing things our own way, and not for booming record sales. The song was written as is (long intro and all), but the decision to put it at the beginning of the album came later. We weren't concerned. If anything, 'Rail' has a definite vibe of The Cure, one of our favorite bands growing up (except Jesse). 'Rail' still remains as one of my very favorite songs.
This was a difficult song lyrically. I struggled for some time with the chorus. Not writing it, mind you, just accepting that it was "ok" to sing that. At this point, all of us except for Jesse were married. When you get married (or engaged) it often throws you for a loop... and this song shows some of that. The first few lines (Jesus tie these hands...) speak of the wrong decisions that I had made in my previous relationships. Relationships that should never have been. I ended up hurting a lot of people, including myself. And, although this song focuses on that struggle, it really speaks to our lives in general when we don't heed the Word of God.
