Syria broke international law when it attacked Israel in 1967 and subsequently lost the Golan Heights. Pay back with the same coin I'd say, although Syria rejected to take the Golan back in exchange for peace.

The Golan was taken in the 1967 War, 52 years ago, and retained in the 1973 War. Wars have consequences-IF the Arabs had captured the Hula Valley-does anyone think they would surrender it?
