    It’s a good thing for the US to end its 17 YEAR long purposeless war in Afghanistan. I was 15 when that war started. It’s been going on for more than half my life. Who could’ve imagined it would be liberals shrieking at the idea of ending a war that was launched by a Republican.

    What happened to the who opposed Iraq? We have been in Afghanistan for 17 years. After the surge, the Taliban controls 70 percent instead of 40 percent. We need a foreign policy of restraint. We could spend the trillions saved on jobs and education at home.

    Who needs the Weekly Standard when we still have MSNBC? When are they launching the PNAC Hour?

    MSNBC coverage of the Syria/Afghanistan withdrawals is just sickening. It's legitimately difficult to watch. I am angry that liberals are being taught by former Bush lackeys (Nicole Wallace, Bill Kristol) that removing troops from pointless wars must be some corrupt Russian plot.

    Getting out of Syria was no surprise. I’ve been campaigning on it for years, and six months ago, when I very publicly wanted to do it, I agreed to stay longer. Russia, Iran, Syria & others are the local enemy of ISIS. We were doing there work. Time to come home & rebuild.
