    Jeremy Corbyn knows that what he is saying is absolutely untrue. The Labour left have clearly made a conscious decision to keep repeating this lie. So let me be clear yet again – we will not lower UK standards in Trade Agreements.

    All parties have them but is so impossibly uber-partisan. 'Everything the Tories do is disgraceful yada yada yada yada'. I love the but he's forced me to press the off button. The playground nature of his politics just insults voters' intelligence.

    The White Paper’s separation of trade & services is the most difficult element: & customs issues the second. But too early in my opinion to say talks doomed - not least because much of the detail on Trade comes post March

    Astonished (or possibly not) by the endless nonsense being spouted about Brexit/Chequers etc. The facts are simple - we don’t know what the final offer will be, and when we do we will need to compare them with the alternatives, no deal, 2nd ref, etc. And then we will vote.
