    Hadassa Cowland Goldberg is originally from Hendon, London and currently lives with her husband and daughter in central Israel, near the city of Ashdod. They live a 1 hour drive from Gaza. They're living in a totally normal city which it isn't supposed to be a high risk area.

    Just heartbreaking and sad. A mother in southern tries to teach her daughter to not panic during a Hamas rocket siren. This is the sad reality for families living under rocket fire from Hamas.

    My 16-year old cousin was murdered in the Second Intifada. She was having lunch with her family in an Israeli-Arab restaurant in Haifa. 16 others were slaughtered by the Hamas suicide bomber including Israeli Arabs. These students sicken me.

    As I am writing this thread, I see that another siren has gone off in Israel. I am praying for the Goldbergs and all other innocent people that are living in danger and just hope to get through the night unscathed. 🙏

    In regard to whether or not Israel should go into Gaza and retaliate, Hadassa has reiterated that she is concerned for any Gazans or Israeli soldiers that are harmed in the process. But also, Hamas causing terror like this shouldn't get a free pass.
