    I remember referring to this possibility when I voted against triggering Article 50 back in 2017. How others couldn’t see this coming was (and still is) beyond me - makes me so, so angry.

    Spot on but not much sign of that so far.

    The criticisms made today by the seven good MPs who have left about what has happened to Labour’s culture, values and traditions will be shared by many who haven’t left. They demand a serious response. Saying “stay and fight” is not enough.

    So sorry to see this happening but absolutely understand.

    After 13 years and devoting countless hours of my life to it, today I leave the Labour Party. This is probably the hardest decision I have ever taken but it's over. It is institutionally antisemitic and I can no longer have any part in it.
