    Brilliant launch of Wainuiomata Community Champions today. Grassroots effort to combat scourge of family violence. Our fruit kebabs went down a treat and I enjoyed manning the Lions BBQ for a while too. Huge turn-out; great to see community coming together

    The Wellington region has long had one of the highest per capita spends on transport, it's hardly been hard done by. And not spending large sums of money on projects that are poor value for money, even by our road favouring evaluation processes is not a bad thing
