I simple love this statement wall, what an amazing use of crates and surprisingly it doesn’t look too busy, it just looks really chic and clean, if i didn’t already have boxes on my lounge wall i would do this in a heart beat. Fantastic!!ReplyCancel

Ours are from Home Depot, but we found that it’s actually cheaper to order at Michaels (online) and use a coupon – you can get a good discount on them that way! 🙂ReplyCancel

Our Living Room Update

We’ve made a few changes in our living room recently and I’m excited to be sharing the updates with you! We had a chance to collaborate with Article again (last year we outfitted our new patio with some furniture from them) and I was so happy with those pieces and couldn’t wait to try out…

It looks great! Can you talk about your TV situation. Do you not have one? Is it hidden? Ours is currently the focal point of our room and I’d like for it to go away 🙂ReplyCancel

Thanks Haley, glad you like it! 🙂 We moved our TV into the family room, my boys are pretty much the only ones that use it. It used to be in the cabinet, and I liked that I could close the doors and not see it. It’s hanging on the wall in our family room right now, and I’m hating that. Once we’re ready to tackle re-doing that room, I’ll probably need to come up with some way to hide it. I think if you have room for a cabinet, it’s a nice way to hide them. We just drilled a small hole in the back of our cabinet that the cord could fit through, and hung the TV on the back of the cabinet the same way you’d hang it on the wall, so it was fairly easy to do. But I know sometimes it’s hard to find a cabinet you like that’s big enough to fit a TV…ReplyCancel

DIY Beer Can Planters

Father’s Day is coming up and I always try to brainstorm a couple DIY projects that maybe a dad would appreciate. (I usually fail…) Whenever I search for ideas it seems that the only Father’s Day gifts are sports team or alcohol related… ha! But my Dad doesn’t really partake in either of those things…

This is such a cute idea! Definitely going to share with our residents as a creative way to upcycle La Croix cans as well!ReplyCancel

DIY Wood Trim Accent Wall

I think this wood trim accent wall we did in Lincoln’s room is the perfect blend of styles. From the wall color, to the design, we worked together to come up with something that both mom & kid were happy with! Lincoln loves the outdoors and wanted a bit of a rustic, moutain-y feel to…

Absolutely lovely! I adore the whole room, but I’m coveting his to-do list. Where did you get it from?ReplyCancel

Thanks! 🙂 We found the to-do list in the Target dollar bins and then DIY’d it a little. It was just a chalkboard, we added an acrylic sheet over it to make it a dry-erase board. I originally wanted to share it as a DIY, but the boards went out of stock fast, so I’m working on something similar so it can be made even if Target isn’t carrying the boards!ReplyCancel
