Hello, I’m Courtney, and this is my blog!

For the past few years, photography has been one of my favorite hobbies. I love capturing a moment of time with the click of a shutter. Landscape and nature photography have been my concentration, but I have recently developed a love of photographing people. I would like to grow a photography business of portraits and special occasions in Northwest Arkansas. This blog features some of my work.

I also plan to feature some of my other favorite hobbies on this blog: crafting, cooking, and reading! Many of my family members crochet, and I think I have inherited the crocheting gene! I have also taught myself to knit, which has been an interesting endeavor. Crocheted and knitted accessories are usually my focus, though I have been known to take on larger projects from time to time.

Cooking is also near and dear to my heart. After all, what is better than a home cooked meal? I hope to invite you into my kitchen to be a fellow-taste tester and friend. So, pull up a chair and pour yourself some hot tea.

One of my favorite things to do is to get lost in a book. I love stories that captivate my imagination and engage my emotions. My favorite material is Christian fiction, but I do venture out occasionally to nonfiction or other genres. I am excited to share bookish topics and book reviews with you all!
