We support student-led protests in Serbia

Terraforming is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening remembrance culture. Although we do not engage in politics, we support student-led protests in Serbia. One of the core values and messages we promote through our work is that we must not be passive bystanders when injustice and violence are committed. This is not about politics but about fulfilling our human, moral, civilizational, and civic duty.

We want to make it clear that precisely because we are engaged in spreading knowledge about the historical lessons of the Holocaust, Terraforming supports and will always support demands for the establishment of the rule of law, legal institutions free from corruption, a society based on pluralism, respect for human dignity, and the protection of civil and human rights. Such a society must be capable of resisting corruption and the misuse of the culture of remembrance to promote hatred, fear, and nationalist propaganda. That is why we support students’ demands. Also, we stand with teachers, university professors, other educational professionals, and all other citizen groups that support the Serbian student movement.
