Sun & Moon Hostel - ברצלונה

חדרים צפופים מאוד. מקלחת עם כפתור שיש ללחוץ עליו מחדש כל 30 שניות כדי לחדש את זרם המים (אחרת הוא מפסיק). המקום לא נקי, החברה שטיילה איתי אלרגית לאבק וחוותה תגובה אלרגית ברמה כזו שעברנו מלון מבלי לנצל את הלילה האחרון ששילמנו עליו.

It was close to Las Ramblas and they had free wifi.

There was black mold on the shower curtain and cockroaches in the bathroom. You're provided one sheet and two pillows. Towels are extra, storing your suitcase is extra, and I would not stay here again. Maybe the single rooms are nice, but the mixed use rooms were really gross. Average age of the travellers was under 20, so they're running around screaming like banshees all night long. I get it, I was like that too, but they should really disclose the fact that most of their guests are max 20 years old.

It's location in Gothic part of city, very closed to Rambala street and Sea

it is a hostal, you must remember that - the room was without a window, but the aircondition did work well, nights were real black there.

I liked hotel staff and location. I stood there for one night. It was clean in the room and in the bathroom.

The staff att S&M was fantastic! Very helpful and very polite! The beds were clean, so was the room and the bathroom. Very, very central! Fantastic situation right by La Rambla and on a lively sidestreet. Alot of nice people and a nice atmosphere! Very pleasant stay!

The breakfast requires a bit of work, quite boring and not enough food.

For those wanting to walk around the city, it`s location is very privileged. A few seconds from Las Ramblas, you can walk to the main touristic spots from the Hostel. The private rooms are in a separate building, and it was very clean. The room was pretty good, actually. Staff very helpful and with good knowledge of the city to guide you.

There was no Wifi in the private rooms building. That part of the city is, indeed, noisy, so, during the nights it seemed like the whole Ramblas was inside the room. The neighbourhood of the hostel is full of Irish Pubs.....what explains all the noise.

ATTENTION, THE PRICE SEEM TO BE LOW BUT THEY CHARGES 2€ FOR SHEETS AND 3€ FOR A BLANKET. No commom place. The breakfast is very bad and also have small portions for one person. The bathroons are ALWAYS wet because the curtains, and the cleaning up is late and bad. If you check in 12:00 (the check out is 10) your room can stay dirty until 15h.

Great value for money. Also, free computers to use which is a plus, considering other hotels like Hostel Fernando next door, rip you off for the things that should be free like using a guest computer. Sun and Moon staff are great. Also, they know the area, give free maps and are very helpful, as well as multi-lingual.

I cannot say one bad thing about Sun and Moon. For the price, its fantastic...

Good location

The worst hostel I have never been. Dirty rooms, I found 2 coackroaks in the toilet.. They were falling down from the ceiling.. Really really disgusting. We ask to the reception at least to close the hole that was in the ceiling but they did't do it! Guys, trust me , I am not a posh person... This hostel is disgusting!!

I did not like this hostel. I booked triple room, per night, but when we arrived, it was found that the room is busy, and we offered to single with extra bed. Hostel is suitable only for young people, students, backpackers.

Great location, street coming off la rumblas and very close to metro train station.

Had to pay for top sheet and blanket as they were not included. Free breakfast was average but it was free so can't really complain. Rooms were very packed didn't have enough room to put your backpack near your bed as it took up all the space between the bunkbeds.

Hi everybody! I stayed at this hotel 11-12 Jun. It was great! The location is just perfect -it is in the Gothic quarter (in 3 min from subway(metro) and in 1min from Ramblas - the main street in Barca)! Rooms are clean.There are big safe boxes for each guest in the room - free of charge. Cover and sheet - for money(3 and 2 euro).Reception staff are very friendly. Really nice place!

Breakfast really poor, Bed without any Blanket (They will charge for everyhing you ask).
