LiberTix is a distribution of Linux/Gnu made mainly for USB and CD booting. The project is designed to provide three things; Extreme Security and privacy for users, a simple introduction to Linux for new users, and an environment made by Libertarians, For libertarians.

Libertix comes with everything you need, out of the box, to use the OS as your daily driver without needing any proprietary or non-Libre software. Libertix takes advantage of the already very libertarian concept of Libre Software.

The OS requires (If you choose to keep it live for security, some versions have an installation option), two USB sticks. One to hold the OS, and one to hold your data. TrueCrypt comes pre-installed if you would like to encrypt your USB.

LibreTix is lightweight Linux Distro based off of the Linux Tiny Core. The system can only use applications downloaded from the "apps" app, which are in a TCZ format. some Appimages work as well but not always.
