Understand Emotional Intelligence and how mindfulness meditation supports its development. You’ll learn:
- Emotional Intelligence and its benefits.
- Basic mindfulness practice.
- Using mindfulness to develop emotional intelligence.
- Using mindfulness practices: mindful sitting, journaling and listening.
Take a full-day deep-dive into mindfulness-based practices for developing emotional intelligence. Learn practices that allows you to voluntarily bring your mind into a state that is calm, clear and focused on demand. These include sitting and walking meditation, journaling, interactive exercises and mindful conversation.
Develop a high-resolution perception into the process of emotion by learning to listen to the body. As you do, you’ll also understand the role of emotional intelligence in managing unpleasant emotions.
Outcomes:
- Become aware of your emotions and comfortable with your emotional range.
- Learn accurate self-assessment.
- Develop self-confidence.
Self-regulation builds upon self-awareness. With awareness you can identify and work with emotional “triggers” and other emotionally difficult situations. In this session, you’ll experiment with a number of practices for working in emotionally difficult situations.

Understand and build your motivations by finding alignment between what you do and what you value, knowing what you want in your ideal future, and developing emotional resilience.

- Develop optimism grounded in reality.
In this session, you will develop useful mental habits and listening skills that help you increase empathy to better understand and work more skillfully with others.

- Strengthen your ability to understand others’ feelings and perspective.
- Develop the mental habits of kindness, goodwill and perspective.
- Increase your capacity to foster highly productive relationships based on trust and kindness.
- Transform conflict into understanding by listening with empathy.
In this session, you will learn transformative inner skills & social skills that help you be beloved even as you become a highly effective team member or leader.
