Jay Inslee (born February 9, 1951) is an American politician. In 2013, he became the 23rd Governor of the US state of Washington. Before becoming the governor, he was a United States Congressman in the House of Representatives for more than 20 years. He is a member of the Democratic Party. [2]
He was born in Seattle, Washington and he now lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington. He and his wife Trudi have 3 children. [3]
