Bruce Vincent Rauner (born February 18, 1957) is an American businessman and politician. He is the current Governor of Illinois. He defeated Pat Quinn on November 4, 2014.[1] Rauner is the Chairman of R8 Capital Partners and the former Chairman of the private equity firm GTCR.
