Bottlenose Dolphins at Chanonry Point Inverness.
It took me seven hours to capture this photo... chuffed to bit's with it though.
Handa Island Ferry.
A trip to Handa Island to see the sea birds nesting on the cliffs... Puffins and Guillemots galore.
Handa Islands has some wonderful beaches.
Sea stack on Handa Island... crammed full of nesting birds.
Scotland's coastal single track "B" roads are wonderful to travel on... beware of oncoming traffic.
Miles and miles of wonderful views.

T.E.Lawrence............ Lawrence of Arabia worked in my home town Northwich
I have just discovered T.E Lawrence once worked in my home town of Northwich
One of the most enigmatic figures of the 20th century he was Lawrence of Arabia.
A man whose life and death was shrouded in mystery.
His real name was Thomas Edward Lawrence a British soldier who found everlasting fame through organising an Arab revolt against the Turks during the First World War.
Lawrence turned up in Northwich... a visit that that created quite a stir even though it was supposed to be a well guarded secret. He arrived under the name of Aircraftman T.E Shaw one of three representatives of the Air Ministry who were there to supervise trials of the Royal Air Force Auxiliary "Aquarius" built at Yarwoods dockyard in Navigation Road.
He stayed for three weeks in the Crown and Anchor Hotel in the High Street.
He was a slightly built man in civilian clothes in height about 5ft- 6ins tall and I believe he weighed just over seven stones.
The local press did get hold of the story but not until he had left town.

I have visited his home in Dorset... Clouds Hill and his final resting place at Morten.

Common Seals.............................. seen on my boat trip from Kylesku Scotland
I've had a wonderful stay at the Kylesku Hotel.
They do boat trips from the old ferry jetty... replaced by the bridge in 1984.
The seals were on a small island close to the jetty.
Common Seals
The next two images aren't mine but show how wonderful the bridge looks...
...one of the most scenic in the world.
Opened by the Queen in 1984.
The skipper took us under the bridge on our trip.
My car with the bridge behind... 1,500 miles in a week on my road trip... she never missed a beat.

More images.............................................................. of the Tatton Park Red Deer
A few more deer images I captured the other day... weather permitting I will be there back tomorrow.
This big fella was running up and down chasing off young stags.
He was protecting his small harem.
It should be fun to watch when some of the other big stags get involved.
Lovely animals to watch... from a distance.
Or close up if you bump into one in the woodlands.
Tatton Park is also home to a herd of Fallow Deer.
A bit shyer than the Reds... this one strutted slowly up to me before deciding to rush past.

It wasn't just the deer I went to see at Tatton Park yesterday... I always take in the two large lakes.

Ludlow............................................................. what a beautiful old English town
We've just had a wonderful few days away visiting the medieval town of Ludlow.
Ludlow is only 75 miles from home so not too long a drive.
Our Hotel... The Cliffe at Dinham
Its sells itself as a restaurant with rooms.. the food was delicious.
A short stroll from the hotel is a bridge over the River Teme and this wonderful view of the castle.
Ludlow Castle was built by the Normans between 1066 and 1085.
Ludlow Market Square just a few yards from the castle entrance.
Ludlow market has been in place in front of the castle for over 900 years.
There are many Tudor and Georgian buildings in the town... I hope to share more images soon.
