My first day in college...was feeling a bit lost. Didn’t know anyone! Thoda sa nervous, thoda sa excited. With these mixed feelings, apne jeans ke pocket main haath dalke maine khud ko bola, ‘be you..be true’...and walked on with head held high!
From facing the real world for the very first time to feeling comfortable with your true self...Mafatlal will always be there! Denim fabrics by Mafatlal.

You can never go wrong with a stainless steel sink. This week we visit one of our projects in Torrance so you can see the stainless steel sink from @KohlerCo we installed in their redesigned kitchen. This undermount sink is perfect for a medium to large sized kitchen. It features creases at the bottom for better drainage and a sleek finish. This video doesn't do it justice, you'd have to see it in person to truly appreciate the size and beauty of this sink!

If you want to learn more about kitchen remodeling and the design process you can visit blog at www.baycitiesconstruction.com/blog/ or call us at 888-881-7355

Are you considering a kitchen remodel but have a small space? An open floor plan kitchen might be the best option for you. Removing kitchen walls will allow more space between the kitchen and dining area. Open floor plan kitchens are perfect for an island that can house storage and extra counter space. ⠀
⠀
The Figueroa family of Carson, CA. wanted to radically change the look of their old kitchen. The family trusted us to design and build the kitchen of their dreams. They absolutely loved their new open kitchen. They spared no expense and installed top of the line JennAir appliances. ⠀
⠀
Do you like the look of this open floor plan kitchen? Let us know in the comments section below⠀

The probability of a major earthquake in Southern California is high. Can your home withstand the destruction? Soft story buildings are vulnerable to collapse during violent shaking. The city of Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and North Hollywood have authorized ordinances to require mandatory seismic retrofitting of soft story buildings. We wrote this short article to help you learn about the soft story retrofit program:⠀
⠀
"If you look around a typical Los Angeles neighborhood, there’s no doubt you will find a soft story building. Soft Story buildings are easy to identify because they feature tuck under parking (this is parking that is below raised parts of the structure), a popular design for apartment buildings. This type of apartment building design is prone to structural failure and collapse during earthquakes if not built to modern building code. ⠀
⠀
The Los Angeles Department of Building Safety recently identified 13,500 apartments that will require some type of seismic retrofit as part of the LADBS Soft-Story Retrofit Program. The mandatory program was authorized after the passing of Ordinance 183893 and Ordinance 184081, creating one of the toughest seismic codes in the nation." you can read more by following the link in our bio!⠀
