17Sep2018. Goodbye Path (app). One of my favorite apps is shutting down. After 5 years of posting over 2600 entries into an online diary which I shared across several social media platforms the app, Path, is now shutting down. It's so strange to think of all of those memories being lost. Within the last year I switched to writing journals again. I didn't realize how much I missed chronicling my thoughts and experiences on paper until I started doing it again. Now I find myself burning my way through blank journals at an exponential pace. It's meditative and grounding. Most definitely cathartic and enlightening. As I analyze my feelings and reactions I discover more about myself and my motivations. Even to the point of revealing side of myself that I didn't realize existed. I'm forcing myself to be completely honest in my journaling and that's not always comfortable. But hard truths force you to look at yourself realistically. Even if you'd like to think of yourself idealistically. I'm going to start sharing my thoughts through Tumblr.
