Deception Island is one of the worlds only places you can sail a ship into an active volcano, known as a caldera. These old whaling boats and decaying structures stand as a reminder of days when whales were king of the oceans. You can see Neptunes window in the background.

So super-volcano under the #Antarctic ice-sheet is apparently responsible for at least some of its melting, according to none other than NASA. So there goes that argument, or at least a lot of it.
