Teenage boy finds purse with $10,000 in it, turns it in to Police
A Teenage boy who is a high school junior was driving home from school when he noticed a black purse in the middle of the street. He retrieved the purse only to find a sum of $10,000 stashed in it.
Rhami Zeini, 16, says he opened the purse to find the owner’s identification and was surprised when he discovered more money than he had ever seen in his life, reports CBS affiliate KCOY-TV.

Russian Special Corps of Gendarmes, circa 1890
The Special Corps of Gendarmes was the uniformed security police of the Imperial Russian Army in the Russian Empire during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Its main responsibilities were law enforcement and state security.
The responsibilities of the Gendarmes also included the execution of court orders, pursuit of fugitives, riot control, and detainment of "unusual" criminals. Gendarmes could also be assigned to assist local police and officials.
