Beyond the dawn - Photography by +Manuel Martin www.manuelmartinphotography.com It’s every year like a miracle to see how the vegetation changes in autumn. All the colors change from lush greens and rich glowing reds and yellows to subtle brownish autumn colors. And if you are hiking in the mountains like me the morning I made this shot here you can even have the encounter of a small snowfall with temperatures near and below zero degrees. But despite the cold it is so wonderful to experience this spectacle of different colors. I was hiking along this small mountain stream with my dog till to the point when I decided to make a break because the time of sunrise was approaching and the area was really nice. And of course I wanted to freeze this moment at this area and I hope you like this vision here I experienced. - Manuel Martin

Exploring West Texas
As the heat of August arrives in Texas, I begin to think about and plan my fall travels. The long Labor Day weekend is a month away and marks the begining of photography season as I start camping again. West Texas is calling and I know that I will have to return to the desert and mountains of my favorite part of the state. This is a view of the Sierra Diablo Mountains in early light. One of those drives I love so much.
