Keys
We never look closely at the things that we use daily. There is always more than we might imagine there.

Tone
As dynamic as every octave or hue might be, it all comes down to tone.

Evens
With all things that we do there is a chance that we take. It can be as simple as where we get coffee in the morning, or how we appreciate a sunset. Each choice, each chance, can feel random, and still impact our lives in ways we may never have understood before.
Playing with the new Macro that +Julia Vivienne Loverdose gave me, loving the PsE/Lr experience that I am going through now, even if it is late.(Early?)

New Day
In splendor or masked behind a cloud, the sun will rise
Magic hour, or that hour that encompasses the sunrise. I have read about thirty minutes before and after the sunrise being magic, that this hour allows for all manner of fun with the light that is available, and now that I am playing with some shots from this summer, I know it to be true.
I am taken back to that moment, cold, and wandering around a place that I have been so many times before, this time with a brand new emotion, a new friend that I had never had with me before. Both the daylight, the sunrise, and the experience that I was having at the time, following along after a moment of worthlessness, and still finding that I had a new day to move forward into.
Thank you +Julia Vivienne Loverdose for being with me at this moment, and all others. Thank you for being next to me through everything.

Songbird
The kind of shot that you can't really prepare for, and at the same time, you really can. We were all playing Boccie and our friend came out and started playing. I found a great shot of him while walking past. The black and white seemed appropriate.

Unnatural Nature
There are those colors that you aren't used to seeing in nature, and green is one that is usually everywhere. This one came out almost neon green, and I love the detail that the new lens brings out.
Couldn't get close to any dangerous creatures this time around, so no snakes or spiders, but there was one fox...

Alpenglow (from German: Alpenglühen) is an optical phenomenon in which a horizontal red glowing band is observed on the horizon opposite to the sun. This effect occurs when the Sun is just below the horizon. Alpenglow is easiest to observe when mountains are illuminated but can also be observed when the sky is illuminated through backscattering.
I DID do a little of enhancement, bringing the color out more, and as I took the photo even a few minutes before and after the shot was almost grey.
The other thing to note is how the lake was picking everything up, this late in the year it was crazy how calm it was.

We all need some place to be
These old train stations, they would be the places that would move the locomotives around, transport them for maintenance. This one is abandoned near Park City Utah and I love this photo.

Bird, who was Bear
Cabin Trips are always a bunch of snapshots, and I love that. This was such a shot, with my cousins dog essentially posing for me as I was on the dock. (That is her on the left in the boat) The dog went by "Bear" for a time, but now has been re-branded as "Bird" as in the forest, it is better to be calling out Bird rather than bear...

Euro Trip
Visiting my sweetheart In Germany provided a beautiful opportunity for some urban photography.
Additionally +Nik Collection by Google was released for free, so for the first time I was able to actually play in post. I actually got to take some of these photos with that in mind, and liked it. I always was a "natural light" photographer, but I am also a tech geek, and manipulating the photos provided a unique look into what my camera picks up.
It is in no small part to +Julia Vivienne Loverdose that these photos both exist, and for embracing the process that is out there. so, thank you for that sweetheart.
