Oh my gosh! I remember the Mandrell sisters! Ha ha!
Isn't it wonderful finding old treasures like that? They really take us back in time.
Now of course no one writes out their recipes anymore.
I have quite a few large photo albums where I've saved many family recipes but I find I use them less and less. Instead I just go to my Pinterest Board and find the recipes I'm looking for there. It is sad really. I think I need to make my Grandma's shortbread for Christmas. Carrying on traditions creates continuity in our lives and keeps memories alive.
