Does what I need it to do, but the connection problem is really weird. I think I may have found the problem, at least in my case. Turning Bluetooth on will automatically disconnect Talkatone and won't reconnect without turning Bluetooth off and reinstalling the app. I've tested my suspicion twice and each time yielded the same result. Bluetooth causes a disconnect and a reinstall fixes it.

I have been using this app for at least 2 years now. I never have service and use my phone on wifi only. I also travel alot. This app has been faithful to me for work and, when traveling to talk to my family. This app has never let me down, EVER. I highly recommend it if you dont abuse it. This isnt a replacement for a plan. But it is a very generous resource. I am grateful.

Best calling app ever I been using this app for 2 going on 3 years it's great. Only way there is a problem is if you WiFi is bad. It's total free calls and texts thanks talkatone for saving my pockets from an 80 dollar phone bill

I'm still unable to pay for the bill, but the conversations I had to use this application for, were more often than not, sporadically connected. I was better connected in the instaces that the call started with my device initiating the call and the number of times I had to repeat myself is not as much of a concern, for the simple fact that I am not a good subject at keeping the phone at a good spot to catch what I say. Texts over 160 characters send and receive backwards, so I am asking for the fix soon

This app is useless. Calls wont go through anymore. People cant receive my calls or txt. They respond to this review with email support. Nothing changes. Slows down my phone. Drains the battery and messes with the volume of the entire phone. I have to restart the phone. If i get a phone call it doesn't ring, it disconnects and I find out hours I missed a call😑😐been doing this for a while now, been using this service for almost 2 yrs. Stop making it look cool, n make it actually work.

Have had it for several years now. and I love it & it Works wonders , has full call and texting now even pictures and video when I started u couldn't do pics in text but now u can for free too. When I started it was done by credits. And best of all runs off WiFi . definitely a keeper for sure. The only thing I don't like is when I first started you could change the background of the app. Now you can't. The white is so plain and ugly.

It's been a reliable app to me for years now. It has added several useful features over the years for free. Sometimes you have too restart the app to get it too connect, and it rarely has a bug where when you have to insert additional numbers during a call (such as for automated calls) where you can't scroll down to hit 0, however it's so rare that I can't complain since they are providing this apps services for free with no gimmicks that I can tell over the 4+ years I've been using them. I've recommended this too people before and I'll continue to do so :)

App often unreliable but improving. Lots of data use goes to ads both top and bottom. Splash screen is completely unnecessary. Settings explanation would be nice.

By far the best wifi phone there is, hands down! Good call quality, free calls/text to anyone in US, pick free number, and when you uninstall/reinstall all your history is still there as well as any you missed while u had it uninstalled. Love love love it!

I used to have this app on my iphone and it worked fine, but i had to change to android and is not connecting when i use it on open Wifi, such as my schools wifi.

It keeps turning itself back on constantly even after you have "forced stop" the app previously. It turns itself back on again everytime you use another app such as: Facebook, Ebay, Messenger, Google Maps or web browser.
