For Android version above 4.3, you can go to system "Settings" -> "Security" -> "Notification access", and check "exDialer".
For others try "xMissedCall Patch" or "xMissedCall Plugin" if your phone is rooted.

Android SDK does not support Dual SIM cards. So, I have no way to solve this problem until Google release new SDK which supports Dual SIM cards.

My favorite dialer After accedently deleting my stock Kitkat 4.4.2 dialer off my Zapax watch phone, I was looking for a dialer to replace it. I found a few but they were difficult to use on such a small screen and had so many menus inside menus to even answer a call. This app is just like my old default one and in fact even better! Simple, clean ease-of- use-one-touch everything and themes that can be as stock or unique as you want to be. Thank you for such a great app!

Best dialer / contacts The only thing better than this would be the stock Android dialer that comes with Nexus devices. After upgrading to LG G4 from nexus 5 my biggest disappointment was the dialer. I tried almost every dialer available and this is by far the best. Clean simple interface. Favorite contacts are easy to access (Just press *) amazing dialer. Clean and simple, it just works. Lots of options and lots of great themes.

It's been a very long time since new themes were added? Though I appreciate that the already existing themes have been updated in a timely fashion. I would love to see softer, non-black&white, non-bright themes which are also easy to read. Am happy to pay for more such themes!!

Like it My only complaint is that things aren't next to each other. Its so nice to be able to just flip through the screens or tap on the message box to get where I need to be. I was hoping to find a replacement for the default, but I'm not into hide and seek just for basic functions.

When i have the same phone number typed in one contact as number and in another contact as a text line in notes field (in exact +7-xxx-xxx-xxxx format), and do T9 search, only second contact is shown. If then i delete number from notes text, the first contact appears in search results

I'd consider buying it, but the price is simply too high for a dialer, and the Pro version doesn't have any extra features. Moving to another dialer.

No Call Block option I have been using this for some time but really require a quick and easy call blocker. Ever since the govt gave out our cell phone numbers I spend all day rejecting junk calls please let me block them
Pretty nice substitute. The customization is outstanding. I am having trouble with assigning different ringtones to contacts and especially groups. The ringtones don't seem to stick and revert back to a ringtone that's not even the system default. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing cache partition, etc.
My first purchased app It lets you search for contacts through what you typed in their notes! It just has a problem with adding some fields like Relationships (sometimes they don't appear). Its slick, quick slide-left-to-call/-right-to-text is so stylish and convenient.

Use on any phone I have consistently used this app for every new phone upgrade for the past 6 yrs now. There are a handful of must have apps no matter what new mobile device i own. This app is one of 4 apps that i have to use whenever I get a new phone or tablet. Its always one of the first must haves that i install. I have looked at other dialers in the play store but i figure why change now! This has always worked perfectly for me no matter what phone i own or what android version I have. Love it!
Very good. But lacks stuff Overall nice, smooth and easy access. Would have given 5 stars if i could merge unmerge contacts without having to go to native app. And the real pain is only being able to share contacts to FB and via email. Would also like an option for search and key pad open automatically when i open contacts. Because thats what i do most.
Major bugs on this app I wonder why the developper of this app never update it ... I do like the design UI and the app performance but it doesn't have any incoming call or outgoing call map I don't see anything when I call someone I just hear the phone callin and I can't notify who is callin me the phone just ring please fix this bug because it's getting serious
Simple ,Stylish and Best There should be a default screen when dialer is opened (like open favorities everytime I open dialer even if I change screens). But they have given to remember the last screen used. The pro key is also very costly.
It's lagging so much.. It was the best dialer and I have used it for a long time but these problems are way too much. 1.It is taking too much time to register the call details after a call ends. 2. When we edit a contact it takes longer to save the details, sometimes it just stuck there for minutes. 3. When we open the Ex-Dialer most of the time it is neither displaying the recent calls nor we can see any name in contacts . It displays after 20-30 secs or after reopening the app
Supports ukrainian keeboard! Tastes sweet. Supports multilingual keyboard. The only minor usability issue found with it is that both languages are displayed in one color - so sometimes it's hard to find a proper letter. Because first you need to determine if n which row it is. I assume different colors for both rows could greatly simplify things for multilingual users
Missed calls bug Since Android 7 ExDialer doesn't clear missed calls in Google's Phone app. Also, Google's default Call Management notification should be disabled when using ExDialer built-in missed calls notifications. Please fix.
With Nougat on Oneplus 3T, exdialer shows all the events for every contact dated in december while if I use the stock contact app, its hows the proper dates. Not sure if this is a permission issue given that the last release was in 2015...
Bugs Have been using your purchase app for a while. There is a bug however. 1. When I VIEW the contact info with ExDialer Contacts (default app) the dates (anniversary, birthday, etc) are wrong. 2. Most Generous Pro Developer Ever! I love how after Pro runs out, your asked to buy. Not forced to buy. Im gonna buy it later. But this guy deserves his sales. Not many would design a super fast dialer and not force pro purchase on you. Which makes this developer amazing! The app is simple and fast! Works great with youmail.
Slide To Call Doesn't Work on Note 4 Slide to call feature use to work, now it switches between my favorites and contact lists. Very frustrating. Yes, I have slide to call enabled in the app settings

What happened to speed dial options? I have used and loved this app for years. But I can no longer get to edit my speed dial numbers. Did it disappear for good or am I looking in all the wrong places? Please advise...
can improve with ringtone can backup ringtone setup? everytime when i have put out the sd card, all my configure ringtone is disappear, also, the group ringtone setting is overrided user ringtone setting, which sometimes specific user can have severl groups...so annoyed😩

Like this app. Like almost everything about this app. Except for two things. I'd like not to show recent calls or contacts on the dialler screen. And limit the number of days in the call history display. Thanks.
Disappointed 😞 This is a nice dialer, and I've had it before, I even bought the pro version long ago, but when making a call, it loads the stock dialer. I was interested in seeing a new dialer all together, in every aspect. I may as well use my stock dialer if it has to be integrated with this app to make calls.
Move the data folder! This app is perfect in every single respect (I have bought pro for multiple family members) but one. The app's data folder gets dumped directly to /sdcard/com.modoohut.exdialer. It should be in /sdcard/Android/com.modoohut.exdialer. Can you please do this and remove exdialer's clutter in my sdcard root? Thanks!
Nice Looks OK works OK but I must question you,does it use airtime for calls? I bought some prepaid airtime the other day and I can't seem to find a way to use it. Edit: never mind I tried using it and I selected a preinstalled app from my tablet and it didn't work.i think it's the preinstalled one that's causing me problems
Dangerous setting in wrong place!! Please add an option to remove the "clear all calls" option from the menu. Not everyone wants to clear their call-history! Having this option here makes it too easy to accidentally cler the history!
Good but deletes contact name. Periodically, my contacts name info will be reset and only display their number. Usually I can figure out who it is through previous text messages or their contact picture, but it's still really annoying to deal with.
Center call button please When I disable ABC at right, it really bugs me that the green call button isn't centered below the "0." Any chance of adjusting that? Great app otherwise. Small, fast and accurate.
Great application however... After at least 4 pattempts to reach customer support with problems and received no reply... I'm starting to assume that it's such a good program they feel they don't need to support it... very disappointed customer.
It stopped going direct to dialing from contact list. When behavior, tap, is call. This is on one Droid Maxx, the other Maxx dials from contacts fine, I am Stumped. Update, installed from scratch, same, tap on an ex contact & it only shows the contact. How does the swipe on a contact even work? Swiping just slides the view.
Very very old and annoying BUG: Wrong sorting of contacts list If a contact "Alex" has prefix "temp", it is displayed under letter T, however it should be displayed under A. . . . . . . . . . . . And developer doesn't reply anywhere. Neither here, nor email, nor on his forum.
Great but.... Am I missing something here but for the life of me I can't find the option to block a number/contact? Or is there one even! Otherwise, overall a good replacement for the stock dialer on my M9.
My favorite dialer This is the favorite dialer of my android life, been using it for a long time, and never find any other dialer that offers the same great features and especially it's design that just suits me as I love simplicity, but not fancy. It's T9 dialer really makes my life easier searching contacts thru my phone, not only search thru contacts name but also contacts' organization and notes as well. My only hope of improvement to this dialer is to have large contact photo display like recently introduced miui v5.
Good except dual sim. Waitin for google to support dual sims natively in full is pointless (I guess it will never be done because of "political" reasons). Therefore it should be supported by app(s) itself. Similarily people do buy dual sim smartphones theirselves, because no operators do sell them (for "business" reasons). (Ok, when they sell, then the cheap craps only or M$ lumias. Grrrr). - - Two stars down for now, because I've no time to wait.
Awesome Dialer is awesome but after a usage of long time it seems awkward . So , a suggestion to Developer that he/she has to make some cool features in dialer. There is no update after oct. 2015 . So a new version with cool features is must needed.
Just One Thing Remains I would have rated it 5 if only it shows/indicates the Sim that was called/used to call - whether Sim 1 or Sim 2 - so that you'll know the one to use in calling back, in the case of missed calls. Please fix it so that I can get stuck with the app. Unless it's not meant for dual Sim phones like my Infinix HotNote. Nice one though!
