Great story! Nice work. I love the idea of little kids with abilities. I love the toddler interpretations of the rough domestic life around him as well.

Thank you for the wonderful feedback Gar, I really appreciate it! I wish I could claim credit for consciously choosing to do it, but I think it’s from my immersion in Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan and the like. Sanderson’s “Rules for Magic Systems” was a great read a couple years ago that addressed that realism you mentioned.

Man, that was disgusting (in an appropriate way) and captivating. I couldn’t stop reading! Really well written…I felt like I was sitting right there watching. Great work.
