Blog Update
So apparently my referral links in monthly subscription box posts are considered “outside advertising” and are not allowed on wordpress.com, so until I figure out what I want to do with this blog (move to blogspot? get a host? any suggestions?), I am going to remove all links from my posts.
I was so pissed the other day when I got the notice my blog was suspended because I violated the terms of service and the affiliate links policy because they made it sound like my post was a “get rich quick scheme”!! WTF. I messaged them about it but they don’t seem to understand this isn’t outside advertising. If it is, aren’t ALL blogs outside advertising if you talk about a product you used?? I tell you guys when it is a referral link too – there are some blogs that don’t (isn’t that against FTC rules?)!
Anyways, rant over… When I get home from work, I’ll remove all links…

About a month ago, Target announced they were creating a monthly program for $5/month and I jumped on it. In fact, I’m jumped on it so quickly I accidentally bought 2 (I thought the order didn’t go through so I did it again and it turns out both orders went through. Oh well…)

Ipsy June 2013
I kept my word and stuck to just 1 ipsy this month! Whooohoo! The theme for the ipsy June bag is On the Wild Side. I’m not crazy about the leopard print and neon yellow bag but a lot of people love it. I do like that the zipper is in front of the bag, not at the top like most bags we’ve received.

It’s June already!! Just wanted to post a quick update before I start with the June reviews.

- Birchbox – $10/month… I have an annual subscription ($110/yr + points!)
- Ipsy – $10/month, cut back to just 1 subscription (had 2 for May)
- PopSugar Must Have Box – $35/month
- Goodies Co – $7/month
- Glossybox – $21/month – paid for 6 month subscription ($115), June’s box looks great!!
- Love With Food – $12/month including shipping – 6 month subscription because I found a deal on Fab.com!
- Hammock Pack – $30/month, June’s theme is lakeside (6/16 is the last day to order for June’s box) *updated 6/12/13 – I ordered the box. There are 2 small spoilers on their facebook page.
Keeping an eye on:
- Fancy Box Regular Box – normally $39 + shipping per month but there are usually codes for $20-25 off (none at the moment though)
Cancelled:
- Klutchclub Box – $18/month
- Bulu Box – Weight Loss box… $10/month
- Fancy Box curated by Pink – hated the box I got
- FabFitFun VIP – Quarterly subscription for $49.99 each quarter, next box sent out June 20th
- Beauty Bar Sample Society – $15/month – nothing wrong with it, just need a break to use up some of the millions of samples I’ve received from all boxes this year 🙂
