Director of Business Development EU-UK
Job description:
The primary responsibility of the Director of Business Development is to establish and grow the Ibex business in the European market. In this role, you’ll identify, develop and manage relationships with potential customers, partners, and Key Opinion Leaders, negotiate and execute on opportunities, while keeping frequent interactions with Ibex’s development team.
Specifically, you will:
- Drive the Ibex go-to-market strategy, by identifying new business opportunities; markets, products, partners and customers
- Develop a network of strategic and business partnerships, negotiate and close partnership deals with win-win terms
- Create and manage new sales opportunities
- Keep Ibex current with all material issues and developments in the European market
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in a relevant field, advanced degree – an advantage
- At least 8 years of experience in sales/business development positions, at least 4 at the director level
- Experience in the healthcare industry and in startups
- Ability to build rapport with customers and partners by demonstrating an understanding of the clinical, business and regulatory environments, in which they operate
- Proven sales and partnership building track record
- Self-directed, proactive and with a strong drive to meet and exceed business objectives
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

In this role, you’ll work on huge, unique datasets of high-resolution pathology images and clinical records from leading institutes worldwide, develop and optimize AI-based solutions for complex problems using cutting-edge technology, integrate your algorithms into our products and receive feedback from clinicians using them in live clinical settings, and work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of Machine Learning experts, experienced software developers and medical professionals.
Requirements:
- PhD or MSc in Computer Science or relevant discipline
- Deep knowledge of algorithms, statistics and Machine Learning
- At least 5 years of industry experience, working on large-scale projects
- Ability to design and develop production-level code
- Experience with at least one of Python, Java, C++
