The Creative Exchange for Brands

We’re interested in using the Creative Exchange. How does it work?

We’ll work closely with your team to create a content solution to fit your brand’s objectives and goals. We’ll match the you with creators who are best suited to produce your content, and Medium will manage the entire process — controlling for quality and making sure all agreed-upon requirements are met. 

Do you offer creative services beyond content creation? 

Yes. We can currently work on all aspects related to the creation of a Medium presence — including writing, editing, project management, editorial strategy, publication creation, and publication branding. We can also product custom photography and artwork, and eventually hope to expand the program to other media formats (such as podcasts and video).

How can I ensure that the content created via the Exchange will be successful?

We select creators for the program based on a variety of factors, including: 

• Size of their following on Medium
• Consistent performance
• Subject matter expertise and content quality

Additionally, the content created via the Exchange can be distributed through our Promoted Stories product, ensuring wide readership. 

How much does it cost to have a story created via the Creative Exchange? 

Pricing is completely variable depending on the type of content being created and the influence and experience of the creators producing it. 

We want the content you create for us to be posted from our brand account. Can you do that on our behalf?

Yes. We can manage the entire process for you, including publishing approved content from your brand account.

Do we own the content created for us via the Creative Exchange?
