WHAT IS JUNCTION?

A HACKATHON EXPERIENCE

Junction is a converging point for over a thousand developers, designers, and entrepreneurs from around the world. It’s a place where no idea is too crazy, and breaking the status quo is encouraged. Ultimately it is a place to have fun, meet new people, and create cool inspiring projects.

THE LATEST TECH

You’ll have 48 hours to burn and the latest hardware and API’s at your fingertips. From drones to thermal cameras, VR Headsets to IOT sensors, we’ll have it all at Junction. We don’t want hardware to be the limiting factor. Want to see something specific? Drop us a line.

FOR EVERYONE

There will be keynotes, tutorials, and workshops suited for all skill levels. No matter whether you’re a beginner or a pro, if you have the passion and a will to create something, we want you to be a part of Junction!

559 Developers – Over 50K€ in prizes – 30+ Countries

Junction 2015

Organized by 100% student run Aalto Entrepreneurship Society, Junction was built to inspire and foster a community of creators and give them a hackathon experience like no other.

In 2015 we gathered 559 hackers from over 30 countries and let them hack on 8 different tracks and 36 different API’s for a total of 26 different prize categories and a €20,000 grand prize.
