Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, nado o 15 de agosto de 1972 en Berkeley (California), é un actor, director, produtor e guionista estadounidense máis coñecido como Ben Affleck. Comezou a ser recoñecido polas súas interpretacións nos filmes de Kevin Smith Mallrats (1995), Chasing Amy (1997) e Dogma (1999). Gañou a fama como guionista cando gañou o Oscar ó mellor guión orixinal e o Globo de Ouro por Good Will Hunting (1997), que co-escribiu e co-protagonizou xunto co seu amigo Matt Damon. Máis tarde adacou o recoñemento internacional polas súas aparicións en filmes como Armageddon (1998), Pearl Harbor (2001), Changing Lanes (2002), The Sum of All Fears (2002), Daredevil (2003), Hollywoodland (2006), State of Play (2009) e Cidade de ladróns (2010).
