Counting Crows on vaihtoehtorockia soittava yhtye Kalifornian Berkeleystä. Yhtye nousi kuuluisuuteen vuonna 1993 esikoisalbumillaan August and Everything After.

Historiaa

Laulaja Adam Duritz ja kitaristi Dave Bryson perustivat Counting Crowsin vuonna 1991. Yhtye aloitti akustisena duona soittaen Berkeleyssä ja San Franciscossa.

Vuonna 1993 yhtye oli kasvanut kolmella jäsenellä. Bassoa soitti Matt Malley, koskettimia Charley Gillingham ja rumpuja Steve Bowman.
