Swedish general attacks Nord Stream II gas project

Sweden should "think twice" about letting Russia use the Gotland harbour zone to build the Nord Stream II gas pipeline to Germany, armed forces chief Micael Byden has said. The general told the SVT broadcaster that building the pipeline would involve giving Russian armed forces access to the infrastructure at a time when Moscow, by its actions in Ukraine and Syria, had become a "challenge to European security".
