EU files fresh anti-trust cases against Google
By EUOBSERVER
The EU Commission filed additional formal charges against Google Thursday, accusing the internet search engine company of breaching EU anti-trust law by imposing contractual terms with advertising services that result in Google protecting its high market share in advertising, and favouring its own sites, while restricting consumers' choice. Google has the right to reply to the new charges, but could face fines up to 10 percent of its global revenue.
