Clique Kits – March Planner Spread

Hello, everyone. Today I want to share a planner spread featuring the new gorgeous Clique Kits March Play Kit. I love this kit to pieces. It is just beautiful. Such happy colors and fun patterns.

I was so inspired by all the goodies in this month’s kit that I decided to make my own dashboard for March.

I knew I wanted to use the Lil’ Bit Lovely patterned paper. I thought the chevron pattern would be cute to create a little pocket. As my base, I used a piece of white cardstock, which I trimmed to fit my Mini Happy Planner (it measures approximately 4.75” x 7”). I then did the same thing with the patterned paper. Since I wanted to cut the chevron paper in half, I first punched holes in it. That gave me an idea of where to cut.

I used some foam dots to give dimension to the beautiful floral piece included in the ephemera pack, and added one of Dr. Seuss’s quotes that I have always loved as my inspiration for the month. I had a hard time choosing the bits and pieces to go in the pocket. They are all so fun!

This is my monthly spread for March.

I like to keep it simple and usually only jot down a few things. The weekly spreads are much busier.

How lovely are these embellishments included in the kit? Don’t forget you can also download the exclusive printables that coordinate perfectly with the main kit.

Sahin Designs – Pocket Letter

Hello, everyone. I am back with a new project today. Don’t you just love receiving happy mail? Or better, making someone’s day by sending some pretty goodies? I have been enjoying putting together pocket letters lately. It is a fast project and you can have one done and ready to be mailed in no time.

For my pocket letter today, I have decided to use the Crafty Fingers collection. I absolutely love the colors and the sentiments, perfect for your crafty friends.

I usually use Trading Card Sleeves. They are smaller than the page protectors you would use for your Project Life spreads. I find they are not as bulky when it comes to shipping them out. To start, I printed my favorite cards and patterned papers from the collection and cut them to measure 3.5”L x 2.5”W.

Embellishing is my favorite part. What I like about working with digital collections is that you can mix and match your elements and achieve a personalized look each time. It is also fun incorporating physical items, such as stickers, twine and enamel shapes, that coordinate well with your chosen collection.

I used foam dots on most of the cards. I like the dimension they add.

Once you are done preparing your pocket letter, fill up each pocket with all the pretty stuff. Your friends will love it!

I hope you felt inspired today.

Clique Kits – Remember This

Hello, friends! Today I have a new layout created with the gorgeous Clique Kits February Bee You kit. I absolutely love the Hazelwood collection featured in the kit. Colors and patterns are very versatile and fun.

For this layout I wanted to focus on the story, on my girls, on their different personalities and similarities. I wanted my page to be soft, very feminine and sweet. I used the Lazy Daisy patterned paper as my background. The mint green color is delicate and dreamy.

The whole layout was actually built around the pretty journaling card from the cut apart sheet. It kind of determined the tone of the whole page. I started building my layers with two white doilies disposed in a diagonal. Then, I used different patterned papers to back my pictures and created more dimension by adding foam tape underneath them. The 3×4 card with the purple camera and the Remember This sentiment added the perfect pop of color.

I also fussy cut the beautiful white flowers from the Hazel Gingham patterned paper and disposed them here and there around the pictures. I had to have at least one butterfly on my layout, of course! I am totally in love with them!

A few more stickers and embellishments, as well as two strips of patterned papers along the left side of the page, finished the layout.

I hope you felt inspired today to keep creating with the beautiful Bee You kit. You can find add-ons and exclusive printables in the Clique store.

Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely day!
