The new Airport Time Capsule is one sweet piece of hardware that can replace lots of hardware and cables with one slick tall white box.

In a nutshell it is 3 things in one:

• Superfast 1300 Mbps WiFi (802.11ac) base station
• 2-3TB of Time Capsule backup hard disk

You can link content you publish on a specific domain to your Google+ profile and your Google+ avatar will show up next to the search result. This usually helps with increasing click through especially if people know your avatar. All you have to do is verify your email on the same domain as your content.

If you're not using FreshBooks for your creative invoicing you're probably missing out. FreshBooks provides simple web based (so called cloud) accounting with many powerful features. My favorites are the custom branding of invoices, automatic billing for clients on a long term contract, time tracking, physical mailing option for those old school clients who still need paper invoices and the online payment option for clients.

As devices become ever-more controllable via touch, we're starting to see an increasing number of innovative input devices. The latest in this lineage is Jot Touch, a precision stylus from adonit that is the first to offer pressure sensitivity. The pen has a transparent disk on its tip that mimics the touch of a finger, while adding the benefit of not hiding what is being touched. Also of note are several shortcut buttons, Bluetooth connectivity and USB recharging. All very nifty but it's the pressure sensitivity that sets this stylus apart. Of course, apps have to support this functionality but with Procreate, Sketchbook Pro, ArtRage, DeepSketch and Animation Desk on the list (hello, Adobe!), there's something for everyone. The price? A non-trivial $99.99.

Hats off to developer Stefan Fürst for releasing the free CheatSheet utility. Once installed, simply hold down the Command key a bit longer than usual and up pops the keyboard shortcuts for the active application. Sweet, simple and free, what's not to like?

You love your double monitor setup, but you have losing the cursor to the other monitor? Here is a great app that solves your problem: EdgeCase.

The app by default stops your cursor at the edges, but you have several ways to cross if you want to: bounce movement on the edge, wait half second after crossing or simply press the Apple (command) key.

Google released a really useful document that aims to help organisations figure out how to win in the mobile space. Here is what they write:

The Deeply Graphic Design Podcast is a fairly new show from The Deep End Design Studio.

Here is a quick interview I made with Wes McDowell, who leads the podcast.

CB: What prompted you to create this podcast?
I have always been a fan of the talk radio format, and over the last few years I have subscribed to a number of other design-themed podcasts that I really enjoyed. Over the past year, I have noticed that many of them have started going away. I don't know if its because they got too busy to keep putting them out, or if they just weren't getting enough listeners to justify spending the time doing it, but in either case, I thought that I could fill the void left by them. Also, I find myself giving design advice to others in person, or on forums, etc, so it seemed like a natural fit to start a podcast.
