The CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) uses a specifically developed online platform to assist in the planning and reporting of program-related projects.
The Planning and Reporting (P&R) portal is designed with results-based management in mind and embraces the CCAFS approach to program management through impact pathways. Thus, the P&R portal focuses on capturing not only research outputs but also contributions of those outputs to development outcomes, based on theories of change. It is also designed to capture key learning along the way and allows projects to adjust their management and strategies accordingly.
In addition to project level planning and reporting, the portal also includes the flagship and region indicators, as well as feedback and synthesis mechanisms at program level. Enhanced functionality will also include report generation and queries.
