The Amazima School Update

January 09, 2017

It’s official! We’re less than a month out from February 13th–the first day of classes at The Amazima School. As you can imagine, things are crazy busy around here–in the best way. God placed this vision in our hearts years ago and we announced plans in the fall of 2014.

Since then, God has been faithful every step of the way: the funds, the land, the construction, and now… the people. A few days ago a total of 18 house parents, teachers, and their families arrived to Uganda from different parts of the world and saw their new home for the first time.

The Amazima School Update

December 21, 2016

We’re less than two months away from our first day of classes at The Amazima School! Here’s how you can be praying:

  • The dedication is planned for late January! Pray for God’s presence to overwhelm all who attend, and for this event to bear witness of the incredible work God is doing in and through Amazima Ministries.
  • Continue to pray for the hearts of students who will make up our first class.
  • Pray for safety, peace, and joy for individuals and families who are in the process of moving to serve on staff.
  • Pray, most of all, that this land will continue to be used for the advancement of the gospel.

Thanks to all who have prayed and given sacrificially so that hundreds of students may come to know Christ through The Amazima School!

Amazima Graduation 2016

“If you want to get rich in a year, you plant beans.
If you want to get rich in ten years, you plant trees.
If you want to be rich for the next hundred years, you plant people.
I know that Amazima Ministries will certainly be rich for hundreds of years!”
- Julius Musasizi Kizito, District Education Officer of Buziika

On November 30th, we gathered under the hot Ugandan sun to celebrate a big moment for 62 of Amazima’s students! 250 people, all proud guardians, staff and students came together to take in this glorious achievement… graduation. The excitement throughout the land in Buziika was palpable as everyone worshipped and prayed, giving all the glory to God for this incredible moment!

Thank You, Paragon Marketing!

November 09, 2016

A few months ago, Paragon Marketing decided they wanted to invest in the first class of students at The Amazima School. And they didn’t just want to write a check. They wanted to participate. They wanted to do something.

So what did they do? The Paragon Marketing staff spent hours filling 75 BACKPACKS with school supplies, toiletries, and other items our students will need come February. These backpacks are now in a container on their way to Uganda and should arrive just in time for our first day of classes at The Amazima School.
