Well then everyone - what a difference a few weeks can make!
I have decided to retire from the PSP tagging community from today.
Something Albert Einstein once said has been haunting me recently -
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"
And that's how I feel about my own personal tag-making at the moment. Gaaaah! lol!
Plus, I've never been brilliant at dealing en mass with moods swings, egos, tantrums, temperaments and the general day-to-day things that happen in the PSP community. It can be quiet and lovely for a while, then BAM! All out mayhem and drama coming from all sides. And that's never been something I've enjoyed.
So, I've finally taken the plunge and admitted that it's time to hang up my tag making tools and go and do something different instead.
It's been a pleasure making things and I've loved it but I think new challenges are needed in my life.
So, I'm stepping right back from the "tagging community" otherwise known as PSP land.
Retiring - sounds so grand? I ain't no Frank Sinatra loL! But I suppose that's what it is. Retirement.
My tutorial sites (my main tut site has over 200 tutorials so I'm not wasting them loL!) and these Blogger sites will continue to be online so hopefully, if you need a mojo refresh or you're looking for a mask or two to help you along, they'll be here for you. I'll pop in from time to time to see that all is well so hopefully links will remain active etc.
I shall remain registered with Tutorial Writers Inc and my Terms of Use are still effective indefinitely.
And never say never.
Maybe one day, I'll get the time and the taste for tagging again and if I do - well, as Arnie would say...
So until then,
Thank you for all the thanks, the tags, tubes, kits, tuts and laughs.
It's been a hoot and a half.
And special thanks to my lovely friends - you know who you are! - for all the support and friendship over these last few years. It wouldn't have been quite so much fun without you.
'Til we meet again
Have fun, happy tagging and Thank You
Your friend,
Vix xx

Very excited to be able to announce that once more, Tyleress Tutorials are online.
And they're over at my main tutorial website VixPSP
Andrea's tutorials were simply some of the best tag tuts ever written for PSP peeps like me.
They've not been online for 3 years, so I am so chuffed to bits to be able to host them at my site for the next generation of taggers that have come along - and of course, for us old hands to enjoy too lol!
Lots of old favourites are there, with more to come over the next few weeks.
If you're familiar with them, enjoy! If you are newish to tagging - you are in for a real treat.
Have fun, blogettes and I'll be back whenever I'm back with some PSP goodness for you.
Hugs xx

Hello blog smashers xx
As yet, no new kit from me. My inspiration is definitely fritzing xx Hope to
get a new kit out early next week, but am struggling to be creative at the moment. So, it's not definite. Hopefully, the scrap fairy will wallop me with some
mojo over the weekend!
However, in the meantime - Good news if you missed a couple of my previous kits.
My superb pal Clarey is once more hosting a couple of them in her fantastic store
CLAREY'S DESIGNZ
Thank you so much, Clarey babe - I really appreciate it xx
The two kits are PINKED which a few people asked about and...last year's Valentine kit which was only on sale for a week or so - so, if you missed it, now's your chance to get it :) It's called VALENTINE (yeah, I know..pmsl!) and it's only
$1.00!
Click on the name of the kit to be taken to the page/s or click on the store to go and visit. And, check out Clarey's new tag kit for Valentine's this year - LOVE BUGS - It's a belter!
I am on Clarey's CT, so I hope to get a tut out with this kit asap. Again - mojo dependant!
It comes and it goooooes.
Anyway - just a little ol' update for you - see you next week with something Valentiney for this year...I hope!
Hugs xx

Hello again blogettes,
Well, another week and a new challenge lol!
I've started a new blog for tag tutorials that I create
using scrapkits made by very talented others.
In order to comply with PTU tube companies
terms of use (ie. this blog here is commercial
so I shouldn't use PTU tubes on here and I don't)
I've set up a new blog just
for tag tutorials made from kits
It's called Vix's Scrap Tag Tutorials (I know, snappy name huh? lmao!)
Don't worry - this blog you're currently on will continue to be
my hub blog for all templates, masks, scrapkits, wordarts, rantings
and ramblings!
The other blog is purely for any and all tag tutorials I make
with kits.
And my main tutorial site is still active when I'm next inspired
so don't worry - I've just added a new blog is all :)
I'm also now a CT member for Jessica @ Gothic Inspirations :)
Thank you hun xx I look forward to seeing what I can
come up with lol!
Anyway, that's the news blogettes - I'll be back later in the week
with some Halloween wordart for you
hugs xx

Hi all,
I wanted to revamp my mailing (y'know the Feedblitz emails) that people who subscribe to the site receive. And in the process, I've managed to delete the old one...whoooops!!
*blush*
Sorry if you were subscribed to it, I tried to find the way to reactivate it, and I couldn't.
I've set up a new one which I've tagged so it hopefully will only send relevant content to you (ie. when I've added scraps, masks or wordart) and not the other general ramblings and nonsense that I spout lol!
If you'd like to subscribe/re-subscribe, that'd be cool. If not, no worries - just pop in once in a while and see what's what hehe
sorry again, and hugs xx

Hi all,
Not been updating this blog much recently - been tagging lots and enjoying it hugely :)
Anyway...
Just to let you know, I've added the full set of my latest masks to my tut site
HERE
They're various designs and include the star sets as seen on here recently.
And I've also been downloading lots of gorgeous scrap freebie goodies from various fab designers (and buying some full sets too) and been...well, frankly embarrassed by the download to comments ratio.
It's totally appalling!
I downloaded one fantastic freebie the other day from a designer - there were something like 2,640 downloads. Guess how many comments had been left?
26.
TWENTY-SIX!!
26 people could be bothered or took the time to say thanks out of over 2000 people. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Being honest,I rarely rant online but it's behaviour like this that really REALLY bugs me. It is my biggest bete noir, my pet hate.
How bad is that. Someone takes what can be hours or days to make something...and the downloaders can't be arsed to take a few mins (or seconds) to leave some love?!
And I've seen the excuses - "oh you've got to be a member to comment" etc.
Well yeah, the sites are free to register at and it means you can leave love when needed. What's the biggie?!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
I ain't perfect - there's times I've downloaded and forgotten to leave some thanks - easily done when you're doing 5 things at once and zipping about. But it's rare I don't leave a thanks these days and I really try to remember to do it all the time now.
And, yes, I know there are fabulous peeps who leave love and thanks all the time - in fact, I often see the same names in many downloads. Believe me, designers appreciate the comments. And it's not much to ask...
Sorry for the rant, blogettes. But - my crikey! - it annoys me! lol!!
So, here's a blinkie I made to show some love
(I made it using a freebie background sampler by Joanne Bain from Doinitdigidesigns.com - Thanks Joanne, gorgeous freebie!)
Post it on your blog and show everyone that you leave love too.
Rant over - thanks for listening, and I'm off to play some more.
Back soon with something...not sure what yet lol!
hugs xx
