400 different art inspirations for families that i have documented since spring 2009, when my daughter had just turned two.

most projects on this site are geared toward children ages 2-7, and come from a spirit of child-centered, process-oriented creative exploration and expression using simple art materials, materials found in nature, or using items you probably already have around your home. and some ideas for the momma who needs creative time of her own, too!

currently (until i get a moment to properly archive this site) the best way to navigate this site is to use the tag menu over there on the right –> to choose an art material, a season, or anything else that sounds juicy today. or you can check out the “recent posts” menu for the latest, or click “blog” at the top menu to scroll through pages and pages of fun. so, go make something! your child (and your inner child) will thank you for it!
