Sarah + Ian’s elegant, fall wedding took place at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. They had their heart set on a magical night in Montecito, and San Ysidro was the perfect fit. We are beyond thrilled to announce that the super talented Heather Heron is joining BP as head of our interiors division. Heather is a Los Angeles based designer that specializes in product + interior design and has a curative eye that is spot on with BP style. Collaborating with a wide array of some the industry’s most respected brands including Environment Furniture, Le Labo and Almond Surfboards, she has an organic and sophisticated presence in her approach to interiors. She also has created a line of home and lifestyle products under the Heather Heron label which are sold in exclusive boutiques in North America, Europe and Asia. (We are obsessed with her blankets.) Her work has been featured in Vogue, Wallpaper, Vanity Fair, C Magazine, and The New York Times. And yes, we snatched her up faster than a margarita in Mexico.

Sarah and Ian came to us wanting a Mexican fiesta welcome dinner for their first night with friends and family at San Ysidro Ranch. With the inspiration of the bright bougainvillea blooms and ranch vibe of SYR, we kept the florals festive and wild in earthy clay and iron vessels. Peppertree garlands and a variety of lanterns, along with lush arrangements, adorned the inside of the Hydrangea Cottage. A mariachi band welcomed guests to the Cottage for the dinner, where tequila shots and blood orange margaritas were served in tiny clay cups. Guests lingered under banners of red and pink papel picado in the outdoor courtyard of the Cottage, sipping margaritas and snapping photos in the Smilebooth. A custom moose head piñata served as a nod to the couple, who call each other Moose. Such a fun and festive start to a beautiful wedding weekend!

YEAH! We had such a blast working with Amanda + Mike on their St. Louis campground wedding. It’s always fun for us to work with our buddies over at The Flashdance. They got married on Amanda’s grandfather’s campground – don’t you all wanna go? It was amazing to see so many special personal touches, like Amanda wearing her mother’s wedding dress and getting married in the same place where she spent many summers as a child.
