Just a few of my favorite words

Welcome to a Few of my Favorite Words collection. About once a week, usually on Wednesdays I post a new favorite word. Since I just hit 100 posts, I thought it was time to make a "welcome" pinned message.

I've always had a fascination with words and their usage, but I don't claim to be an expert. I just post words that "speak to me" and hope others will like them too. Thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate it!

I like the word, "Ave" because just saying it out loud is soothing, almost lyrical.

Pronounced: [ah-vey, ey-vee]

This word can also be used as a farewell. It's also an interjection.
