I'm far from a "markets solve everything" guy, but in this case, I think the EU is being ridiculous. Android is an Alphabet product. Google search is an Alphabet service. That Google search wouldn't be the default on an Android device seems absurd. In fact, that's one of the major reasons I prefer Android. Stop punishing success, Europe. Or maybe instead, and here's a radical thought, compete.

OK, nerds, I need some help.

Here's my current desktop setup at work. It is a 30" 2560x1600 monitor flanked by 1200x1600 monitors (portrait orientation). This gives me a total resolution to work on of 4960x1600. I like having portrait monitors on the sides for reading webpages, documents, file lists, etc. while my main monitor is ideal for wider fare, like spreadsheets, Powerpoint, etc.

This setup has served me quite well for ~6 years now, but I'm starting to encounter spreadsheets and models that don't fit. So, now that UHD/4K monitors are affordable, I'm wondering if there are any monitors that have 2160 pixels on the long edge so that the resolution matches when turned vertical to sit to the left and right of the main monitor. Anyone know if those exist? Or is there an approach that doesn't rely on resolution?
